Lora Parker MS, ATC

Lora has been with Front Range Orthopedics since 2009. She received her Bachelors Degree in Athletic Training from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA in 2002 and has been a NATA Certified Athletic Trainer since her graduation. After graduation, she attended the University of Connecticut where she received her Masters Degree in Sports Management. While at UConn she was a graduate assistant Athletic Trainer with the Women's Soccer team and with the Baseball team, accompanying the Women's Soccer team to teh National Championship game in 2003. She has also completed an internship with the Pittsburgh Pirates MLB team and worked 4 summers as the athletic trainer for a College Wooden Bat Summer League baseball team.

Prior to coming to Mead High School and Front Range Orthopedics, she was the Athletic Trainer for 2 high schools in Biloxi, MS and then for Acadiana High School in Lafayette, LA where she worked for 4 years. While at Acadiana, the football program played for the state championship 3 times, winning once. The baseball and boys / girls soccer programs all qualified and competed in the state playoffs. She has had the opportunity to work with many athletes who have moved on to large Division I collegiate athletic programs, as well as to both the NFL and MLB.

Lora looks forward to continuing the growing athletic tradition at Mead High School and assisting the Maverick athletes!
